|General description/brief summary||
Responsible for assisting with the programs of the Institute for Ministry with Youth and Young Adults, with special focus on Explore Your Call.
Help to plan “Explore Your Call,” a summer discernment and seminary preview program for high school students at the Bethany campus. Assist with recruiting high school and junior high students for Institute programs (EYC and Immerse!) which may include contacting and networking with youth pastors and other youth workers, Assist in organizing and coordinating workshops for churches/districts wanting to reach youth and young adults in their ministry. Assist with occasional on-campus forums (or formal times of conversation) around issues related to ministry with youth and young adults. Other duties as assigned.
Experience with planning events and/or programs. An ability to take initiative, to be warm and outgoing and to relate well with people of different generations. A demonstrated interest in issues related to ministry with youth and young adults. MDIV student with Youth and Young Adult emphasis or focus with experience in youth and young adult ministry preferred.
