|Days of Week||Monday-Friday, some Saturdays. Days of the week will be coordinated with others serving as receptionist.|
|Time of Day||Front desk hours during a section of this period: 12-1 pm M-F, some Fridays 5-9 pm, some Saturdays 9-3 pm.|

|General description/brief summary||
Provide general office support, hospitality, and off-campus representation for Admissions and Student
Admissions & Student Development: prepare packets and letters for mailings, update and
maintain admissions database and e-news subscriber list, contact with prospective students,
provide hospitality for prospective and current students during on-campus events, represent
Bethany at occasional recruitment events.
Receptionist Duties: answering phone and transferring calls, taking messages, assisting guests
entering the building, monitoring traffic in and out of the building for security & hospitality
purposes, and closing the building. Several persons who report to different departments will
fulfill receptionist duties. Respective supervisors, as well as other departments, may assign
additional tasks for completion during receptionist hours.
Other duties as assigned.
Attention to detail; dependable; experience with Microsoft office programs, web-based interfaces,
databases or willingness to learn; work with minimal supervision; follow confidentiality requirements;
complete tasks in a timely manner; good organizational skills; positive, friendly attitude, hospitable
presence; articulate; comfortable and skilled communicating clearly through a variety of media (in
person, online, phone).
