Pre-Forum Gathering 2013
The tradition of welcoming Bethany alumni/ae and friends back to campus for fellowship and interaction with faculty, staff, and students continues with the 2013 Pre-Forum Gathering. Drawing on both historical and contemporary contexts, faculty presentations will speak to the presence that scripture has in human experience. The event will begin with dinner and fellowship on Thursday, April 4, and continue through Friday, April 5. Attendees can earn 0.5 continuing education units for the Gathering.
The Pre-Forum Gathering is sponsored by the Bethany Seminary Alumni/ae Coordinating Council: Nan Erbaugh, MDiv 2008; Rhonda Pittman Gingrich, MDiv 1998; Kerby Lauderdale, MDiv 1968; and Dana McNeil, TRIM 2004.
The Pre-Forum Gathering begins with dinner, followed by worship led by Bethany's Student Leadership Team, and then a coffeehouse and dessert. Attendees are invited to participate in the coffeehouse: skits, musical numbers, readings, and other entertaining demonstrations are welcome! A digital piano will be available. (Please contact Jenny Williams, director of communications and of alumni/ae relations, if you would like to participate: 765-983-1825 or firstname.lastname@example.org .)
