Welcome to the Webcast Login Portal Page for Bethany's Live Web Meetings!

Enten Running Webcast

If you've participated before, you know this is easy.  But what if you want to participate in a live web meeting (also known as webinars, or broadcasts) through Bethany, and don't know how to do it?  No problem!  If you can click a link and type your name and city, that's about it.  All you have to do is follow the simple instructions below, and you will be able to see and hear all that is going on right within your internet browser--just like you are seeing this page now!

Looking for recordings of past broadcasts? Other webinar logins?
You can find these in Bethany's Webcast Vault.

Directions to participate live in meetings and broadcasts
(please read this first to avoid problems later!):

Bethany currently utilizes two different platforms for broadcasting, choosing the tool which best fits the content and format of the presentation.

  • For broadcasts based on our Livestream platform, no login steps are required to see and hear the presentation live.  When you click the link to the broadcast, you will be taken directly to the page with the live stream (if a broadcast is in process).  Also available on that same page will be all previous broadcasts in that series, as well as Hints for Viewing (highly recommended--scroll to the very bottom of that page).  You are welcome to post comments and questions to the broadcast, but as Livestream does not support anonymous comments, to do so requires opening a free account (or logging in with Facebook, for instance).
  • For broadcasts based on our Adobe Connect platform, an initial guest login is required.  When you click the link to the broadcast, you will first be taken to a Connect login page.  Simply (a) enter your Name and Location in the Name box under "Enter as a Guest" (e.g., "Enten Eller -- Richmond, IN"), and then click [Enter Room] to be joined to the broadcast.  You are welcome to add comments or questions freely.

  • Hints for either platform:
  • Please be sure that your speakers are turned up.  For laptops, external powered speakers (or a headset) are highly recommended, as typical laptop speakers are too small for helpful voice reproduction and clarity.
  • Maximize your browser window in order to view as large as possible.
  • If you are part of a meeting or course for which you presenting--that is, you are to share your voice, video, and/or materials--it is critically important for the integrity of the broadcast that you fully comply with the additional instructions for headsets or earbuds, mics, webcams, and software that will have been provided for you.
  • For technical assistance, you may contact Enten Eller, Director of Electronic Communication (contact information below).
