Main Campus
Bethany's main campus in Richmond, Indiana encompasses a number of facilities which support Bethany's programs. They include the multi-purpose Bethany Center as well as buildings belonging to Earlham College and the Earlham School of Religion (ESR) to which Bethany students have access to through the affiliation. All buildings are wheelchair accessible.
The Bethany Center serves as the hub of activity for Bethany's life in Richmond. The building includes classrooms, a study area, offices for faculty and administration, work areas for support staff and student assistants, a meeting place for worship, a resource room for congregational life, a commuter lounge, and areas for informal gatherings and special group meetings.
Center opens onto a plaza which joins Bethany to the ESR Center and Barclay Center. The ESR Center serves as the focal point for the programs of ESR. The building contains classrooms, several small seminar/meeting rooms, a dining room and kitchen, a meeting room for worship, a recreational room, and space for community activities. Some Bethany classes meet in the ESR building, and some ESR classes meet in the Bethany building. Meal events for both schools take place in the dining room of the ESR Center.
Named after an early Quaker leader, the Barclay Center houses the administrative and faculty offices for ESR.
Other buildings on the Earlham College campus which are accessible and important to Bethany students include Lilly Library, Runyan Center (student union), Stout Meeting House, and the Wellness Center.
